Tablas Creek Tasting
Thursday, April 24th, 7-9pm

WHAT A COUP! One of the leading wineries in the California Rhone-style Revolution was Paso Robles' Tablas Creek, the California outpost of the famed Perrin family and Château de Beaucastel. Responsible for supplying California with many of our beloved oddball grapes (Vermentino, Grenache Blanc, Tannat, etc), Tablas also contributes decades of old-world expertise. These wines are uniformly outstanding and we'll get a chance to taste a variety of rarities, winery-only wines and older vintages of their flagship Esprit de Beaucastel.

Among the wines being tasted:
2005 Esprit de Beaucastel Rouge
2006 Esprit de Beaucastel Blanc
2004 Mourvedre
2004 Syrah

$45/person with wine and light appetizers included. Seating is limited to 20.

Backyard Cookout with Greg Brown of T-Vine! - Saturday, May 10th, 2-6pm

What do you get when you mix fruit-lacious wine, hamburgers (or veggie burgers) grilled to perfection and the cosmic grooviness of T-Vine proprietor Greg Brown? I have no idea, but on Saturday May 10th, we are going to find out! All we ask is that attendees bring serious thirst, serious appetite and the desire to have a good time with other people on the path to ultimate awesomeness. Greg will be on hand to show us new and tasty juice, and Matt will be in the backyard flippin'. Purchase price gets you a tasting of T-Vine releases and a burger of your choice (no obligation!) Glasses of wine and additional burgers are extra.

$20/person for tasting and burger. Call 510.525.9463 to reserve/pay.

The New World of Pinot Noir - May 29th, 6-9pm

Wow! There's nothing more to say about our New World of Syrah tasting other than...CRACKADOOM! 20 wines, numerous appellations, huge smiles and many requests for more! So mount your monocles and extend your pinkies, it's time to tackle that most fascinatingly fickle of red grapes - PINOT NOIR! We'll taste all over the New World (sorry France), to seek universal truth and hedonistic nirvana with a dozen or more examples.

We will have two sessions to spread out the crowd. Please specify which session you are reserving for - the 6-7:30pm or 7:45-9:15pm. Cost is $25/person, $10 of which counts towards a purchase after the tasting. Reservations - 510.525.9463
